Planting, storing and drying tips for the Tulip bulbs for Elephants set of 10:

  • Tulip bulbs should be planted in the fall, usually between October (early) and December (late)
  • The bulbs can be planted in the soil or in a pot
  • Tulip bulbs prefer well-drained soil that is loose and sandy
  • Plant the bulbs at a depth of around 15cm with the point upwards
  • Plant the bulbs at a distance of 10cm between the bulbs
  • Tulip bulbs usually begin blooming in late spring, usually in April or May
  • The tulips usually bloom for 2 to 3 weeks
  • You can dig up and store the bulbs after flowering or let them sit for 2-3 years
  • Tulip bulbs left in the ground produce flowers. The tulips will get smaller every year
  • If you take the bulbs out of the soil to store and dry, do not cut the tulip leaves, but let them die themselves, so that the nutrients from the leaves can still feed the bulb
  • Store the tulip bulbs in a paper bag or cardboard box in a cool, dry place

The Lalibela Tulip is named after the rock-hewn churches in Ethiopia built in the 13th century by King Lalibela. The red Tulip Lalibela has more color than the reddish churches, but is just as beautiful. With its large flower and striking color, Tulip Lalibela should attract as much attention as the eighth wonder of the world in Ethiopia.

The tulip bulbs are dried with Bitcoin miners in Holland.
